چکیده
The experiment was laid out in a Completely Randomized Design with Factorial concept which replicated thrice and comprised of two factors viz., factor-I Varieties Cynodon dactylon turf (V1: Tifdwarf, V2: Selection-1, V3: Locally available variety factor-II Planting desnsity (P1: 100.00 dibble/m2, P2: 44.44 P3: 25.00 dibble/m2). interaction effect varieties planting were influence on different characters highest number (196.08) runners per 100 cm2, earliness for fully establishment turfgrass (48.67 days), dry biomass (13.24 g/100 cm2) doobgrass at 60 DAP. Moreover, maximum root depth (84.27 mm) longest runner length (37.87 cm) noted V3P3. Maximum nodes (17.20) present found V1P3.In case minimum fresh weed (197.20 g/plot 43.40 g/plot) (24.64 5.05 observed combination V1P1 V2P1 From the results it revealed that dibble var. Tifdwarf or Selection-1 grown dibble/m2 favoured quick turf, appropriate growth habit less frequency lawn mowing minimal growth.

Cynodon dactylon (L.) (Poaceae) is traditionally used herb to treat fevers, skin diseases and rheumatic affections. The ethanolic extract of C. dactylon was found to be safe at all the dose levels (100, 200 and 400 mg/kg, orally) and there was no mortality up to the dose of 5000 mg/kg of extract when administered orally. C. dactylon showed significant antiarthritic activity against Freund's com...

Metabolic responses to cadmium (Cd) may be associated with variations in Cd tolerance in plants. The objectives of this study were to examine changes in metabolic profiles in bermudagrass in response to Cd stress and to identify predominant metabolites associated with differential Cd tolerance using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Two genotypes of bermudagrass with contrasting Cd toleranc...
